When he is not playing out with his band: Soul Rebel (including at swing & blues events like ORLX and Blues N Soul), he is writing and collaborating with fellow artists on his original music.

Several years ago, my father and I wrote a swing song together. He recently recorded and mastered the final version using my lyrics! So Austin and I created a music video, inspired by the new song, with the help of some of our Parisian friends!

So what have we been up to? Mostly settling into life in grand ole Paris!

We are super excited to announce that we will be teaching with some AWESOME teachers in at the Weekend Stage Chatons held by Les Chatons Swingueurs!

Austin and I will be teaching courses in jazz roots, solo charleston and an intro to the Dean Collins shim sham.  Austin will also be teaching blues with the lovely Doriana!
